  37. Hello Bob. I have run the KPC-9612 with BPQ - dual port. One important
  38. difference from the KPC-3 is the fact that the KPC-9612 is dual port. Check
  39. the MYDROP command - default is 0/1 which means the 1200 port has a KISS
  40. address of 0 and the 9600 port is KISS address 1.
  41.  
  42. In BPQCFG.TXT, you'll need to set the CHANNEL= statement to A for 1200, and
  43. to B for 9600 (e.g. CHANNEL=A). The IOADDR and INTLEVEL should be set for
  44. the correct COM port you're using. Remember, you'll need TWO PORT configs
  45. in the BPQCFG, both with the same IOADDR and INTLEVEL. Also, the SPEED=
  46. needs to be set to the same as the MODE command in the KPC-9612.

  62. appropriate for this post.  I picked the closest three I could find;
  63. feel free to email me if you think I should add or delete a newsgroup
  64. name from the newsgroup's line. (one companies name showed up in GPS
  65. world (hence sci.geo.satellite-nav)).

  135. Jeff, you can order the #190-PCB baycom modem for $12.95, this circuit uses
  136. the AM 7910 chip, if this is the one you have.
  137. Their FAX number is 714-952-3280, they are located in Anaheim(CA) is memory
  138. serves me.
  139. The board is roughly of the business card size and works both 300 HF and
  140. 1200 VHF (see advert. in CQ magazine).

  228. No direct experience, but from a programming standpoint I would guess that
  229. the WS_FTP is expecting a very fast reply (which over phone lines is fine)
  230. but it's timeout threshold is much too fast for radio-based work.  You
  231. might want to check the program for a parameter to update or contact
  232. the author.

  234. I just checked my WS_FTP -- Play with the timeout value in the 
  235. ADVANCED menu of the session settings.  Perhaps that will do the 
  236. trick.   Let me know!
